Explore Sukabumi Part I + the trip expense

Ok guys, let's skip about Papua because last week I went to Sukabumi, house of Ciletuh Geopark. Here is the chronology.

23 Nov 2018

The group consisted in five persons: me, Satrio, mba Okta, mba Yani, and bang Glen. We traveled from Bumi Serpong Damai, South Tangerang to Ujung Genteng beach, Sukabumi through Jagorawi Highway for 6 hours due to traffic jam from Pondok Indah Highway to Cijantung Highway. The road was in good condition in spite of its curve.

Arrived at Ujung Genteng Beach, we secure the campsite on the most southern part of the beach. We built the tent and ordered food from local store (Indomie ofc), there are many of them. I was sleeping in the car, so I was unable to sleep anymore. Therefore, instead of trying to sleep which is useless because I was so fresh, I tried to make camp fire. This is my first time in windy condition, I had to try several times before I succeed. But the fire lit for not so long. 

I woke up because of the wasp sting, hour later we moved to Curug Cikaso. Curug (Sundanese) = Waterfall. The location is only 30 minutes from the beach. The Curug area was still pure, there were no many buildings there because it was near a rice field. You can choose either you will walk or use boat to go to the Curug. But, I recommend you to walk, it only takes less than 10 minutes. On the other hand, using boat will also take 10 minutes but the people will charge you Rp 65.000 per boat for round trip (max capacity 13 persons), it is not worth it. 

We were so lucky because there was no rain on that week. So the water was lack of sediment, hence the color would be original, tosca. Unfortunately, swimming is prohibited in the main pool, but you can swim in the other pool like us. There was a photo spot, but be careful the  path is so slippery. We enjoyed the Curug and relaxed for a while.

Hours later, we went to Curug Sodong. Took one hour or more to get there. I prefer Curug Cikaso much more, because the place was more modern and more commercial yet crowded. the guide offered us to go to Curug Cikanteh, but ain't had no time fo dat.

30 minutes later we traveled to Puncak Darma. This place is also crowded but the scenery was worth it.  You can see the beautiful crescent bay of Palangpang beach. The sunset was almost perfect if those clouds weren't there.

Finally we we stayed overnight in one of the local store at Palangpang beach, so we don't need to built a tent, the owners was so kind (after we bought their food ofc). The beach is more modern than Ujung Genteng beach because it has path for pedestrian and cute lamps along the beach. It was crowded too.

in Sunday 1.30 AM, we decided to go home because bang Glen had a business in Jakarta. We arrived in 6.00 AM.

gas for car: Rp 500.000 round trip

retribution ticket for Ujung Genteng: Rp 27.000/car

retribution ticket for C. Cikaso+insurance: Rp 5.000/person

parking ticket for C.Cikaso: Rp 15.000/car

retribution ticket for C.Sodong: Rp 5.000/person
Retribution ticket for puncak Darma: Rp 3.000/person

highway entry fees: +- Rp 100.000

note:

in C. Cikaso, if a person follows you/your group, just say politely that you don't need guide, he will charge you if you don't do anything.
